Inventory #V2A4567. This scene was found high up on the cliff overlooking Agua Azul, a waterfall site on the Xanil River in Chiapas, Mexico. The site is known for its cascading falls of blue water (hence the name) and is a popular site for both tourists and locals on holiday. This little scene is off the main trail on a small path. The small falls surrounded by its lush greenery was soothing and mesmerizing.

A photographer since the age of 8 when I received my first camera as a gift from my grandmother, I learned the art of photography by studying such current great artists as George Lepp, Dewitt Jones and Art Wolfe. My inspiration is God's beautiful creation, and I attempt to record it faithfully, shooting landscapes, flowers, animals, and anything that captures my fancy. I shot film until 2012 when I purchased my first pro digital camera. Now I do both, and do all of the creation in the camera before the snap. If the image isn't good enough to print as taken, it is discarded instead of being "improved" through Photoshop. I have my own darkroom and love making my own prints from negatives.
