Description

One of the many spectacular view in Lower Antelope Canyon. Lower Antelope is located east of Page, Arizona on the Navajo reservation. A permit to enter is available on site. It is a slot canyon that is quite narrow with just enough holes in the ceiling to allow spectacular light to play on the wall. At times it is so narrow, one cannot even put a foot on the floor. Then it widens nicely so that one can get wonderful views of the light play. It can be quite dangerous during monsoon season, so one should not enter the canyon if there is danger of rain anywhere in the area. There is no OUT!
