Inventory #16I0063-E. When I was a child in Illinois, one of the joys of summer was a field of clover and its delicious smell after it was cut. Those sweet fields are no more, but the clover remains, growing as wildflowers along the roadsides. To take this image, I literally lay down on the road to get slightly under the bloom so that I could frame it against a background of its own plant.
