Description
Inventory #V2A2245E. This is a view of the Salt River at a place called Three Rivers. That is where the Salt, Gila, and Agua Fria rivers all come together west of Phoenix, AZ. The Salt is usually a dry river bed as it flows through Phoenix due to water being pulled out for irrigation. The Gila runs dry because of water being pulled out for farming around Safford. And the Agua Fria is also a dry river bed. However, in the winter with lots of winter rains, all three rivers run full and once they come together, they form a mighty river. The Salt at this point isn't very deep, but it is getting wider as it goes along. This was taken on New Year's Day.
