Description
Inventory #V2A1265. At Acoma, one of the oldest continually inhabited towns in the US, the Pueblo would put their doorways high off the ground, then put ladders up to them. In case of attack, the ladders could quickly be pulled up, thus not allowing invaders entrance into the house. Pretty slick, no? This is a very typical ladder to a very typical door.
