Description
Inventory #16iI0586EE. Palouse Falls is a 200-foot straight drop on the Palouse River in the state of Washington. It's not a particularly huge or important river, but it carries life-giving water for the crops in the Palouse region. This falls shows a drop in the river's path, and from here it cuts a deep canyon through the terrain, winding its way until finally feeding into the Snake River.
The Falls has its own state park that offers upper views of the Falls. There is no trail to the bottom, and attempting to scale down the cliff walls is strongly discouraged. The common view is closer and more to the side of the falls. This view is taken from the far end of the park where the Falls can be seen more directly, but from a greater distance.
