Description
Inventory #V2A6627. At a bend in the river, debris collects, creating a very dangerous hazard for canoeists. Canoe drivers must know the river and know the best way to get past debris like trees and huge logs. They must know how to maneuver the rapids, how to pull the motor out at just the right time so as to not break the propellers on the rocks. That knowledge sometimes daily as items float in the fast-moving river. Canoeing the river is not for the faint of heart. This is the Rio Cayapas in Esmeraldas Province in northwestern Ecuador.
