Description
Inventory #V2A3169. The Tippecanoe river is a rather lazy meander in northern Indiana that runs about 182 miles into the Wabash. At this particular point, its banks are overgrown with huge trees that reflect nicely into the slowly moving water. The river is associated with the Potawatomi Indian who lived in the area originally. It was at a place along its banks that the then General Harrison (later US President) fought an uprising of indigenous tribes.
